At first we created a poster about a theatre performance but our lecturer Dr.Sharifah Sariah rejected the poster. It is because our poster has so many defects. We admit that it is our fault and we accept her critics. At the end of the class she gives us some advice on how to improve our poster. Here, we want to show to all of you our first poster.
After we heard our lecturer's advice, we come out with a new poster and a new theme. We make a poster on 'DO NOT LITTER'
We are very satisfied with our new poster and hope our lecturer will like it too. So, here is our new poster that we have submitted to our lecturer.
This is one of our task for Instructional Technology subject. We were asked to edit the old damage picture to make it become clear. Here is the picture that has been edited.
You can see the differences right? We edited this picture using Adobe Photoshop. You can try it by yourself later.

Assalamualaikum readers. Today, we would like to write a review on play performance presented by BENL’s students of IIUM. Actually this play was held last week but there are still other plays performing on this week. We want to make review on plays ‘Trifles’ and ‘Tartuffe’.
This is the summary for trifles.
The sheriff Henry peters and the county attorney George Henderson arrive with the witness Lewis Hale, Mrs. Peters, and Mrs. Hale at John Wright's farmhouse, where the police are investigating Wright's murder. Lewis Hale recounts how he discovered Mrs. Wright acting bizarrely, as she told him that her husband was murdered while she was sleeping. Although a gun had been in the house, Wright was gruesomely strangled with a rope. The men continually disparage the women for worrying about trifles instead of about the case, but Henderson allows the women to collect some items for Mrs. Wright, who is in custody, as long as he agrees that the objects are irrelevant to the case.
While the men are investigating upstairs, Mrs. Hale reminisces about how happy Mrs. Wright had been before her marriage, and she regrets that she had not come to visit Mrs. Wright despite suspecting the unhappiness she had suffered as John Wright's wife. After looking around the room, the women discover a quilt and decide to bring it with them, although the men tease them for pondering about the quilt as they briefly enter the room before going to inspect the barn. Meanwhile, the women discover an empty birdcage and eventually find the dead bird in a box in Mrs. Wright's sewing basket while they are searching for materials for the quilt. The bird has been strangled in the same manner as John Wright. Although Mrs. Peters is hesitant to flout the men, who are only following the law, she and Mrs. Hale decide to hide the evidence, and the men are unable to find any clinching evidence that will prevent her from being acquitted by a future jury - which will, the play implies, most likely prove sympathetic to women.
This play has a great story line but for non literature student, they will find it quite difficult to understand. Overall we think that all of the group team had done an enormous job. Well done!
This is the summary for Tartuffe.
Madame Pernelle, visiting her son Orgon's house, uses the opportunity to criticize all the members of the house and to praise their boarder, Tartuffe, because he is a man of such holiness and zeal. The others present offer objections to Tartuffe, maintaining that he is false and hypocritical, but Madame Pernelle will not entertain such thoughts. As she leaves, she admonishes everyone to follow Tartuffe's precepts.
We can say that everybody in the hall was enjoyed by the performance. It was an awesome play. All the group member’s had done something out of the audience mind. They have great actors, costumes make up and many more. We can say that it was a great success. Good job BENL’s students. We are proud with you.

Hello readers! As you can see on the poster above there was a theatre performance held at IIUM Main Auditorium on the 13th February 2011. It was a Malay theatre and the title is ‘Cintaku Milik Siapa’. In our opinion, the whole production’s crews and actors had done a great job. The performance was very awesome and you would not regret if you watch it. The theatre is about Umar, a disobedient son who has lost his mom which was a huge break for him. He hates his dad and enjoys girl's companies, typical city boy. But, something big happens at a Valentine's eve. Something that changes his view to the world, something that turned him over a new leaf, something that you ought to watch. For those who did not get the opportunity to watch this theatre, here we provide the trailer of this theatre. At least you have the idea how the theatre was. Enjoy it!

Theatre is a branch of the performing arts. Any performance may be considered theatre; however, as a performing art, theatre focuses almost exclusively on live performers creating a self-contained drama. A performance qualifies as dramatic by creating a representational illusion. By this broad definition, theatre had existed since the dawn of man, as a result of the human tendency for storytelling. Since its inception, theatre has come to take on many forms, utilizing speech, gesture, music, dance, and spectacle, combining the other performing arts, often as well as the visual arts, into a single artistic form. The word derives from the Ancient Greek theatron (θέατρον) meaning "a place for viewing."Modern Western theatre derives in large measure from Greek drama, from which it borrows technical terminology, classification into genres, and many of its themes, stock characters, and plot developments.
